Kademliysko praskalo waterfall originates from the Kademliyska river, which in turn is a right tributary of the Tuzha river. The Kademlii fountain rises at a height of 1500 m, in the heart of Mount Triglav in the Middle Stara Planina. The height of the water fountain is 70m, and the stormy stream of water descends on the steep rocks and creates an incredibly beautiful view. The Kademlii splash is one of the highest and also one of the most beautiful waterfalls in our country.
Rusaliyski Pass
Mount Rusalka /Maragidik 1889m/ is a peak in the Balkan Mountains, above Apriltsi, also known by its other name, “Rusalka.” The peak is situated north of the central ridge and is visible from the entire northern foothills of the mountain, east of the Beklemeto Pass. From the peak, a wide panorama opens up towards the entire valley of the Vidima River and the town of Apriltsi, towards a part of the Northern Djendem and the Fore-Balkan. To the west of it lies the saddle through which the Rusaliyski Pass crosses from Northern to Southern Bulgaria.
Triglava Massif – The name “Triglava” is associated with the characteristic three consecutive peaks: Golyam Kademliya (2275.4 m), located in its northern part, Maly Kademliya (2225.7 m), and Pyrgos (2195.2 m). After Mount Pyrgos, the ridge gradually takes a southeast direction and passes through the peaks Zli Vrah (2196.9 m) and Tanastepe (1874.9 m).
Mount Botev – a hike of 4.5 – 5 hours – is the highest peak in the Balkan Mountains, with an altitude of 2376 meters. It is located in Karlovo Municipality, Plovdiv Province. Until 1950, it was called Yumrukchal and Ferdinand’s Peak (named after Ferdinand I), after which it was renamed in honor of Hristo Botev.

Severen Dzhendem Reserve – the reserve with the highest average altitude in the park. Severen Dzhendem Reserve was established on September 30, 1983, with the aim of preserving several distinct ecosystems, as well as the rock and karst formations that can be seen here. The protected area covers more than 1600 hectares.
Severen Dzhendem encompasses the watershed of the Vidima River, as well as the northern slopes of the Balkan Mountains, located above this river. Within the reserve’s territory are the lower and middle parts of the slopes of Mount Botev. The terrain is highly dissected and rich in rock formations, which are often difficult to pass. Along with numerous valleys and ridges, there are also vast grassy areas and forested massifs.
